Linden board, model Stand inclined, 23x30 cm (base 6 cm), with gesso
Icon board in solid lime wood with wide lower base (6 cm).
The wide base gives the possibility of having the icon on a table without needing a support, thanks to its inclined shape which allows it to be placed on a stable basis.
The table has beveled edges and rounded internal corners. It was painted both on the back and sides with anti-woodworm, anti-mold impregnator and walnut-colored water-based paint. A canvas was glued onto the panel with rabbit glue and then prepared with about ten layers of plaster (a mixture of 80% Gesso Bologna, 20% Gesso Meudon and rabbit glue). Finally it was sanded and is therefore ready to be painted .
