It is a light brown ocher from the hilly area of Verona, dried, crushed and ground. It is a pigment that was already used in Roman times.
Known for itsinimitable shades, for their characteristics of semi-transparency, resistance to time and for the peculiar characteristic of being able to be used in the most diverse vehicles (oils, natural and synthetic resins, slaked lime, etc.).
Fields of use: Fresco, tempera, oil, encaustic.
