Mordan alcohol glue for gold leaf SP 5, 100 ml, PG
Alcohol mixture PG SP-5, 100 ml. Used for gilding. Manual application is recommended with a soft brush, roller or pad. Gilding with potassium mixture SP-5 gives a semi-gloss shine. In addition to primed and painted surfaces, SP-5 adhesive can be applied to almost all non-absorbent materials (plastic, metal, glass).
Does not require dilution. SP is characterized by ease of application to the substrate without leaving streaks, as on water-repellent surfaces there is a low probability of dry stains. This property favorably distinguishes alcohol-based missions from water-based analogues, which is highly appreciated by experienced gilders.
Approximate method of use:
1. Prepare a well-dried substrate for gilding (any glossy paint).
2. Apply an even and thin layer of professional alcohol mixture PG SP 5 with a soft brush or cloth.
3. It is recommended to let the treated surface dry overnight in a dust-free environment before gilding. Under normal temperature and low humidity, the drying time can be reduced to 60 minutes.
5. After the glue has dried, gilding can be done within about 48 hours.
