Veronese green is a synthetic inorganic pigment, and owes its name to its inventor, Paolo Veronese. It comes from Italy and has been used mainly since the 19th century.
It is insoluble in water and not very stable to light, temperature and humidity. With an average amount of thinner, a fluid paste and an opaque color with medium tinting power are obtained.
They are organic pigments appropriately dispersed and fixed on mineral bases, suitable for use in the artistic field, for decorations, scenography; they can be used in water, acrylic and vinyl resins, glue solutions, natural resins and oils, in lime.
