Dewaxed shellac extra clear, Manetti
Natural resin in ready-to-use solution recommended to subtly protect and polish leaf gilding, both precious metal and imitation.
Extra-pale dewaxed shellac in solution is more transparent and less amber-coloured than classic dewaxed shellac, enabling gold leaf to be protected without altering its surface colour.
Ideal for silver surface finishes and more generally for finishes not requiring a warmer than natural colour.
Composition
Natural extra-pale resin in alcohol solution, purified of colours and impurities.
Use method
Before applying the product all surfaces must be perfectly clean, dry and free of fat deposits. Dewaxed shellac in solution requires no preliminary preparation. It is ready-to-use. It can be applied by brush, spray or pad. The resulting glaze is bright, transparent and less amber-coloured than classic shellac.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place in its own container, closed, and away from direct light and heat. The ideal temperature is 15-25°C with humidity under 50%.

Application method and quantities applied may significantly affect workability time frames. The most suitable application methods should be determined experimentally on the basis of support used and desired result.
