Zinc white is a synthetic mineral inorganic pigment.
This color is obtained from the steam of zinc burned and oxidized in refractory substances at a temperature of 1000°C.
It has high stability to light, temperature and humidity. It requires little thinner and forms a liquid, milky paste. It has a medium covering effect. It is used to lighten and, at the same time, to enhance the color of other pigments. It has a medium-high coloring power.
Recommendation for use: It can be used in different decorative techniques, such as oil, egg tempera, encaustic and fresco.
