Pozzuoli red is a natural inorganic mineral pigment.
It is obtained from the purification, drying and grinding of a red earth, historically coming from Campania (Italy).
It has high light stability and good humidity stability. It requires a medium amount of thinner and creates a slightly earthy, fluid paste. It is a compact color with a medium-high coloring effect. Furthermore, it has a medium-high covering power.
Recommendation for use: It can be used for different decorative techniques, such as oil, tempera, encaustic and fresco.
