Cadmium yellow n6, Kremer pigment

Cadmium pigments are extremely lightfast, opaque and suitable for most artistic techniques. However, toxic fumes are released when burning cadmium pigments, which is why the use of these pigments for everyday objects and painting purposes, for example for colored wall decorations, is prohibited. We also do not recommend these pigments for encaustics.

The medium Cadmium Yellow n. 6 (ColorIndex PY 35.77205) is suitable for gouache, watercolours/tempera, oil, acrylic.
