Yellow ocher earth is a natural inorganic mineral pigment, coming from lands such as Tuscany, Verona, Sardinia and Burgundy.
It has high stability to light, temperature and humidity, and dries quickly. It requires little thinner, and creates a slightly dusty paste. Even though it can have a medium covering effect, it is advisable to dilute it more because the tint has a better effect in its more transparent version. Furthermore, it has a medium-low coloring power.
Advice for use: you can use it for different decorative techniques, such as oil, tempera, encaustic and fresco.
Formula: Cds + ZnO – Cadmium sulfide, zinc oxide.
