Dunkel ocher is a natural inorganic mineral pigment (iron hydroxide, calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate). This pigment is obtained by crushing and grinding an orange-toned earth coming from the hilly area of Verona.
It has excellent light stability and good humidity stability. Furthermore, it has a medium-high covering effect and requires an average amount of thinner.
Recommendation for use: It can be used for different decorative techniques, such as oil, tempera, encaustic and fresco.
