ULTRAMARINE PURPLE Italian pigment Dolci
Ultramarine violet is an inorganic mineral pigment.
Used since the 19th century. This color is obtained by increasing the temperature when cooking ultramarine blue. It is recommended for glazes and has a low coloring power.
It is used with all techniques, including fresco.
