Titanium White is a synthetic mineral inorganic pigment. It is obtained from titanium dioxide and added with calcium sulphate and/or barium sulphate. It has high stability to light, temperature and humidity. It has very rapid drying times and tends to chalk, i.e. it loses dust. For this reason it is very often mixed with zinc white.
It is a very opaque white, mixes well with all pigments and has a lightening and mattifying effect. The amount of thinner is medium-low.
Recommendation for use:
It can be used for different decorative techniques, such as oil, tempera, egg tempera and fresco.
