Greenish umber earth, Kremer pigment

Natural green-brown earth.

One must imagine the shade as an ocher in which more or less large parts of the iron oxide have been replaced by manganese dioxide. The higher the manganese content, the darker the color. The shade varieties of greatest artistic value come from Cyprus, others from Italy, England or Germany.

Umber, Verdicchia is suitable for Tempera, Watercolour, Ceramics, Cement / Tadelakt, Oil, Silicate Binder, Acrylics, Lime / Fresco.
